I agree with M.C.Gilbert, I think you have an eye for portraits/people and my opinion is you should concentrate on that. The 'people-pictures' (especially the of the man with the helmet) are great!

shack/joshua tree

I really enjoyed the shack near the joshua tree. A wonderful find and nicely composed. Well done. I'd like to see it moonlit.
